V – A – K – AD TEST
V-A-K-Ad is a test of the representational system in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). We often receive and process information in four distinct ways, referred to as Visual (V), Auditory (A), Kinesthetic (K), and Auditory Digital (Ad). These are the four basic modes representing the "channels" through which we perceive information via the senses and how we typically use language to communicate with the outside world. Understanding these better helps us communicate with ourselves and others much more effectively and efficiently.

Visual (V)
You remember by visualizing images. It's often difficult for you to remember and you easily get bored by lengthy statements without visual illustrations or descriptions of objects or events. You're usually interested in how things look. You tend to make decisions based on what you see. You can imagine images and easily grasp the big picture. You're drawn to outward appearances. You often use visual representations such as: I see, I visualize..."
Auditory (A)
You remember by visualizing images. It's often difficult for you to remember and you easily get bored by lengthy statements without visual illustrations or descriptions of objects or events. Kinestic (K)
You remember by listening. You find it easier to listen to audiobooks than to read physical books. You're easily distracted and annoyed by noise. You can easily recall something to others and learn by listening. You enjoy music and prefer phone conversations. Tone of voice and language used are very important to you. You tend to nitpick words. Every thought occurs as if there's a voice in your head. You often use auditory representations such as: "I hear, I hear it..."
Auditory digital (Id)
You remember through practice and repeated experiences. You respond well to tangible rewards and connections. You're interested in programs that help you feel stable or enhance your intuition. You tend to speak in circles. Decisions are based on emotions and you're prone to changing your mind. You easily infer things and have a rich imagination. You often use emotional representations such as: "I feel, I hope, I'm really happy..."
Congratulations on discovering your main representational system. You may find that you have traits of more than one representational system. Understanding the arrangement of representational systems will help you recognize your strengths, weaknesses, abilities, habits, and behaviors clearly. This depends on your score for each representational system.
